Oliver King. Photographer. 18.

face book.jpg

Oliver King is a young Tasmanian photographer who has been taking photos for 6 years.  His primary school teachers first encouraged him to take photos to express himself as an alternative to literacy as he struggles with Dyslexia.

He won a national Moran Photography award in grade 6.  Since then he has been working as a tour guide in the school holidays at the local Fairy Penguin Tours in order to save up for his camera gear. He uses a Nikon D700 and a GoPro Hero3.

He would like to thank his uncle, Tim Cassidy who helps him understand photography and his dad, Rob King who drives him around to great locations to get the perfect shot.

Also some other legends that have mentored me include Scott Gelston, Mark Jesser and Emily Dimozantos.
